IT Staffing

Four ways to fill a technical role, plus one for the corner office.

South 6 fills technical roles through contract, contract-to-hire, direct placement, and executive search. We also place interim C-level leaders on an engagement basis. Which one fits usually comes down to how long the work lasts and whether you want the person on your payroll at the end of it.

Contract & Contract-to-Hire

Contractors either lead a project or work alongside the team you already have, depending on where the gap is. Our recruiters maintain relationships with contractors nationally, so sourcing does not land on your internal staff. Contract-to-hire keeps the decision open: you work with someone through the engagement and make the permanent call with real information rather than an interview impression.

Direct Placement

For permanent roles, we run the full process: posting, sourcing, resume review, pre-screening, and presenting a shortlist. You interview finalists. The administrative weight of an open role sits with us instead of your team.

Executive Search

Senior and C-level searches across private, public, and not-for-profit organizations. The pool is smaller than it is for technical hiring, the strongest candidates are rarely looking, and the search is often confidential on both sides.

VIRTUAL EXECUTIVE SERVICE

South 6 places quality assurance managers, regulatory affairs associates, and validation engineers with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. Consultants work independently under your direction or fill gaps on an existing team. The work maps to FDA, CE Marking, and ICH requirements.

Typical work includes strategic analysis of current operations, leading initiatives that have stalled, internal policy review and alignment, regulatory compliance, and decisions about how resources get allocated.

Engagements run short- to medium-term and start in days rather than months. You are not paying a search fee, carrying benefits, or exposed to severance when the engagement ends.

Placements span finance, higher education, technology, healthcare, manufacturing, consumer, defense, and hospitality.

Tell us the role, the timeline, and whether you want the person on your payroll at the end.

We will take it from there.
